How to share your projects
Apart from exporting your projects as MP3 or WAV, you can also share links allowing play-only access, where teachers or students can listen to the project without edit access. It's also possible to create a template from your project that anyone with the link can clone it to their own account.
Note: In Soundation Education, only users who are part of your organisation will have access to your projects using these methods.
Share play-only link
A play-only link will give limited access to your project and allow the viewing, playing, muting and soloing of tracks. You can also decide whether you want to permit requesting full access or cloning of your project.
- 1Open Soundation and create or open a project
- 2Click Share in the top right corner
- 3Click Share play-only link
- 4Toggle Enable play-only link
- 5Set your permissions
- 6Copy the link and share it
Anyone with the link can now open the project, listen to it and solo or mute channels without the ability to edit. They can even see changes being made in real-time.
Depending on your set permissions, the play-only link will give users the options to Remix project or Request access.
Granted you've allowed it, clicking Remix project will duplicate a unique copy of your project to their account - allowing for non-destructive remixing or editing.
If they request access, you can accept and manage their permissions from the Invite collaborators tab.
Make a template of your project
A template link clones a mirrored copy of your original project to anyone that opens it.
- 1Open Soundation and create or open a project
- 2Click Share in the top right corner
- 3Click Share template link
- 4Toggle Enable template link
- 5Copy the link and share it
You can also convert a project to a template project straight from the dashboard.
