Can I copyright and sell my songs commercially?
If you create it, you should own it! Anything you create in Soundation is your production. You can sell your creation without asking Soundation for permission or sharing royalties. However, please note that loops and samples are licensed to be used in your production only, meaning that you can’t transfer, upload, share, give, or sell any of the isolated or individual sound files from the studio. Please see our full licensing agreement here.
Can I upload my songs on YouTube or games for commercial use?
Of course, who doesn’t want their music to go viral? Since all of our samples and loops can be used royalty free in music productions, any tracks produced in the studio can then be used for commercial purposes in and on games, YouTube, streaming services, physical CD, etc. The only restriction is that our individual samples can’t be shared, sold, or used as in-game sound effects. Please see our full licensing agreement here.
